AUC took its place at the ASES 8th International Mediterranean Scientific Research Congress

The 8th ASES International Mediterranean Scientific Research Congress was held at Girne University in collaboration with Near East University. At the congress, Dr. Emel Yılmaz, an academic from Cyprus American University (AUC) who chaired the session, and AUC undergraduate students came together with academics and students from different universities and made an important contribution to scientific sharing.
Undergraduate students attending the conference as part of the Media Research Methods course taught by Dr. Emel Yılmaz, a faculty member at the Department of Visual Communication Design, Faculty of Fine Arts, Cyprus American University, participated in the same sessions as academics and professors from different universities. Students gained valuable academic experience by attending academic presentations, asking questions, and participating in scientific discussions.
Tuğba Erte, a student in the Media Studies course who attended the conference, stated that such scientific events broaden academic perspectives. She expressed that, as undergraduate students, having the opportunity to attend in-person academic presentations and participate in scientific discussions for the first time was an extremely meaningful experience for their academic journey.
Ömer Selim Ak stated that being in the same environment with academics and students from different universities was a valuable gain for them in terms of inter-university academic interaction. The students expressed their gratitude to the AUC administration, the ASES administration, and the course instructor Dr. Emel Yılmaz, especially Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci, for providing them with this opportunity.
