Northern Cyprus is known as a little jewel of the Mediterranean and is famous for its long history, diverse culture and natural beauty. The TRNC has six regions. These are Nicosia, Kyrenia, Famagusta, Guzelyurt, Iskele and Lefke.

BEING A STUDENT IN CYPRUS
Northern Cyprus has become a popular educational center due to its quality education. Nicosia, the capital city where the campus is located, has become a multicultural place influenced by a long multicultural past. Students can enjoy the journey of the past by visiting more than 100 historical buildings left by 12 different civilizations. Also on weekends and during school holidays, students can visit the world-famous pristine beaches of Cyprus, located just 15 minutes from Kyrenia and 40 minutes from Famagusta. In Nicosia, the most populous city in the TRNC, students will have the unique opportunity to participate in many cultural and social activities in various cafes, restaurants and shops.

The American University of Cyprus campus offers you a colorful and reliable environment as 2 campuses in the Nicosia Walled City area and Alayköy District with its innovative and modern structure, which is constantly growing, which includes a large multicultural and friendly family with its students, academic and administrative staff.
EVENTS
Throughout the academic year, students can benefit from art events, exhibitions, music events and a wide range of social and academic activities on campus. Many of these are organized at our school. The traditional Spring Festival, the culmination of the year’s social activities, is held in May.
