AUC Took an Active Role in Scientific Studies During the Summer Term

The American University of Cyprus (AUC) took an active role in prestigious international congresses held in different regions of Turkey in June and July. KAU was successfully represented at the 2nd International Hevsel Scientific Studies Congress organized in cooperation with Diyarbakır University and ASES (Academy of Scientific and Educational Studies), the IInd International Hevsel Scientific Studies Congress held in Izmir and the ARCENG IVth International Scientific Research Congress. KAU Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Visual Communication Design Faculty Member Dr. Emel Yılmaz not only presented papers at these academic events, but also served as the session chair.

Prof. Dr. Emel Yılmaz stated the following in her statement

“I am very pleased to come together with academics from different disciplines and contribute to quality scientific studies. It is extremely valuable that such events not only create an environment for scientific sharing but also pave the way for interdisciplinary collaborations. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the ASES group for contributing to the congresses. I would also like to thank the American University of Cyprus, especially our Rector Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci, for supporting our participation in these studies.”

KAU Rector Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci said:

“As KAU, we are pleased to take part in such studies within the scope of the cooperation protocol signed last semester. We will continue to take an active role in academic activities in the coming period. We will come together again as soon as possible and continue our cooperation and projects. The fact that Prof. Dr. Emel Yılmaz both presents papers and chairs sessions in international scientific congresses strongly demonstrates the effectiveness and contributions of KAU in the academic field. We are very proud of this achievement.”
