Academic Cooperation Protocol Signed Between AUC and ASES

The American University of Cyprus (AUC) and the Academy of Scientific and Educational Studies (ASES) have signed an important academic cooperation protocol to promote joint scientific studies and enhance mutual understanding. The agreement is expected to encourage interdisciplinary studies and increase visibility in the international arena.

The protocol was signed within the scope of the 10th International Social Sciences Congress held on May 02-04, hosted by Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University and in cooperation with ASES.

AUC Rector Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci and ASES Coordinator Ali Söylemez signed the protocol and AUC Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alp Karaca and AUC External Relations Representative Dr. Emel Yılmaz were present on behalf of AUC.

AUC representatives actively participated in the international congress, which was attended by scientists from 17 countries, including Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. At the signing ceremony held after the completion of the sessions at the congress, this important cooperation between ASES and AUC representatives, which will strengthen academic solidarity, was formalized. The congress attracted attention as an important event where different university representatives came together, exchanged ideas and encouraged global collaborations. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alp Karaca, representing TRNC and AUC, made a keynote speech at the congress, emphasizing the university’s progress in research areas and the importance of international partnerships.

AUC Rector Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci made important statements within the scope of the signed cooperation agreement. Keçeci stated that within the scope of the protocol, they signed an agreement that envisages conducting joint scientific research and academic publications, organizing scientific events such as conferences and strengthening mutual cooperation in the academic field. Rector Keçeci emphasized that with the joint projects, academic events and international congresses to be developed between the two sides, the cooperation is aimed to become effective not only on a national but also on a global scale, and that this process will offer new opportunities for both academics and students.
