This year’s World Architecture Day theme, “Design for Resilience,” reminds us that architecture is not merely about creating spaces; it also carries the responsibility of developing solutions that adapt to the changing conditions of life and are sensitive to people and the environment. True resilience lies not so much in the strength of materials as in the flexibility of thought and the transformative potential of design. It is precisely at this point that architecture becomes a means of looking to the future with hope through the act of rethinking, repairing, and improving.
