AUC was Represented at the 3rd International Positive Schools and Well-Being Congress!

The American University of Cyprus (AUC) was represented at the III International Positive Schools and Well-Being Congress held between May 13-15, 2025. The congress, which aims to support positive psychology practices in education, the improvement of school culture and the holistic development of students, brought together international studies in this field.
KAU Faculty of Political Sciences Department Head Dr. Burak Kurtcebe and Department of Psychology Lecturer and Expert Clinical Psychologist Merve Karafistan represented the university at the congress and presented their papers. The presentations of the academics attracted the attention of the participants with both scientific and practical contributions.
KAU Faculty of Education Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alp Karaca considered the representation at the congress as an important step in promoting the university’s vision of “human-centered education” on international platforms. Karaca stated that the contributions of the academicians once again revealed the importance that KAU attaches to well-being-oriented studies by supporting positive approaches in education.
