KAU Contributed to Solar Energy Journal with Its Research in the Field of Energy

The research team, which included KAÜ Faculty of Engineering and Technology Dean Prof. Dr. Mustafa İlkan, published their joint study with Mohammad Karimzadeh Kolamroudia, Oluwasegun Henry Jaiyeoba, and Babak Safaei in Solar Energy, a prestigious and internationally renowned journal in the field of energy.
The article titled “A Comprehensive Review on the Artificial Intelligence for the Development of Thermal Concentrating Photovoltaic Systems” presents a comprehensive review of artificial intelligence methods in the development of thermal concentrating photovoltaic (TCPV) systems. The study makes new contributions to the field by holistically evaluating scientific findings obtained from doctoral theses spanning many years.
Solar Energy, published by Elsevier, is indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) and is ranked in the Q2 category. The journal is also indexed in international databases such as Scopus, SCImago Journal Rank (SJR), and SNIP, and is recognized as one of the leading publications in the field of energy.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa İlkan, who has pioneered studies in the field of energy technologies in our country, continues his research with a young and dynamic academic staff under the umbrella of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at KAÜ, where he is the founding dean, and continues to contribute to the international literature.
