Program Description
The Podology Program at the Vocational School of Health, American University of Cyprus, is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the field of podology. Students will gain expertise in:
- Medical foot care for healthy individuals
- Prevention and treatment of foot health issues under physician supervision
- Diagnosis and treatment of nail pathologies and foot calluses
- Prevention of foot-related conditions and treatment techniques
- Nail prosthesis applications
- Application of bandages, wraps, toe pads, and foot orthotics
In addition to technical skills, students will also develop the ethical and professional conduct necessary to work in multidisciplinary healthcare teams, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
