A Visit from AUC to Sinop University Rector Prof. Dr. Şakir Taşdemir

Cyprus American University (AUC) Representative for External Relations – Congress TRNC Coordinator Dr. Emel Yılmaz, appointed by AUC Rector Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci, visited Sinop University Rector Prof. Dr. Şakir Taşdemir at his office as part of the ASES 11th International Scientific Research Congress. The visit took place in Sinop with international guests attending the congress, which was hosted by Sinop University and organized in collaboration with ASES (Academy of Scientific and Educational Studies) and the Oriental University of Uzbekistan.
Representing Cyprus American University, Dr. Emel Yılmaz, along with Prof. Dr. Salima Rustamiy, representing the Rector of Uzbekistan Oriental University, Lecturer Gülbahar Kadirova representing the Uzbekistan International Research and Tashkent Irrigation Mechanization Agricultural Engineers Institute, Gülfera Valiyeva representing the Uzbekistan Ministry of Public Education, and Lecturer Mahire Kasimova representing the Uzbekistan National Research University Tashkent Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers Institute.
During the visit, Sinop University Rector Prof. Dr. Şakir Taşdemir presented Dr. Emel Yılmaz with a commemorative plaque on behalf of the university. Following the exchange of plaques and gifts, Dr. Emel Yılmaz presented letters of appreciation to Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Muhitdin Yılmaz and Prof. Dr. Rıza Bayrak, and Secretary General Şenol Metin.
During the visit, academic collaborations, joint projects, and internationalization efforts that could be carried out between the American University of Cyprus and Sinop University were discussed. The meeting is expected to contribute to academic contacts in the coming period and pave the way for new scientific collaborations.
