Academic Achievements of AUC Students Crowned

The 11th ASES International Scientific Research Congress was held between November 21-23, hosted by Sinop University in collaboration with Cyprus American University (AUC) and Oriental University. During the congress, KAÜ graduate and undergraduate students presented abstract papers prepared as part of their courses, showcasing their academic performance. Students who successfully presented their work prepared for the courses Mass Communication Theories (COMM 502), Media Research Methods (MED 307), and Communication Skills (TCS 201-TPSY 207) earned praise for their academic contributions and dedication.
According to information provided by the AUC Communication and Press Coordination Office, the students’ success was celebrated with a ceremony held at the university. During the ceremony, which was conducted by the course instructor Dr. Emel Yılmaz, AUC Rector Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci congratulated Yılmaz and the students and presented them with certificates of appreciation for their achievements.
Rector Prof. Dr. Keçeci stated that student participation in scientific research is of great value to the university, noting that
“We are proud of their academic productivity and participation in international studies. I wish you continued success,” he said.
Dr. Emel Yılmaz expressed her appreciation for the hard work and sense of responsibility shown by the students throughout the process and thanked all of them.
