Cooperation Protocol Between AUC and Akdeniz Hearing Center & Medical

A protocol covering cooperation in the field of health was signed between Cyprus American University (AUC) and Akdeniz Hearing Center & Medical. According to information provided by the AUC Communication and Press Coordination Office, the signing ceremony was held at the AUC Alayköy Campus. The ceremony was attended by AUC Rector Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci and Mediterranean Hearing Center & Medical General Director Ali Şamil, as well as AUC Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alp Karaca, AUC School of Health Sciences Director Prof. Dr. Turgay Akalın, and AUC External Relations Representative Dr. Emel Yılmaz.
Under the protocol, Akdeniz Hearing Center & Medical will provide hearing test services to AUC employees and their first-degree relatives, and if needed, discounts and various privileges will be offered for hearing aid procurement. In line with the cooperation, free hearing tests for informational purposes may also be conducted for employees and their relatives at a time and place agreed upon by the parties.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, AUC Rector Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci stated that the university attaches importance to social and health-focused collaborations aimed at improving the quality of life of employees and their families, and expressed that the protocol would make a significant contribution.
Ali Şamil, Medical Director of the Mediterranean Hearing Center, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration with AUC and stated that they will continue to provide support to university employees and their families regarding hearing health.
