American University of Cyprus 2022-2023 Academic Year Orientation Days Ended
“Orientation Days” were organized by the American University of Cyprus (AUC) for new students joining the University.
Many social and cultural events were held within the scope of orientation days, which were held to support the adaptation process of new students of the American University of Cyprus with the university and the environment and to help them get to know the structure and facilities of the university. Students had the opportunity to visit the Nicosia, Kyrenia and Famagusta regions and get to know the historical and cultural places of TRNC.

AUC Rector Prof. Dr. In her speech at the opening, Gökçe Keçeci expressed her hope that the new academic term will be a beautiful one for all students in the light of art and science. Rector Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci,

Stating that the American University of Cyprus continues to renew and develop as a whole with its students, and that he is happy to see the students on the AUC campus, which is growing day by day, Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci,

“Our departments affiliated with the School of Health Vocational School attract great attention”
In her speech at the event, Hazan Şerifli, Head of the Student Affairs Department of the American University of Cyprus, emphasized that the Anesthesia and Physiotherapy departments of the rapidly developing School of Health Professions have attracted great attention from Turkish students in the past period. Hazan Şerifli,
“In addition to our School of Health Vocational School departments; Interior Architecture, Business Administration, Visual Communication Design, International Relations and Cooking were among our most preferred departments this term.” said.
Expressing their thoughts after the events, students stated that they had the opportunity to visit the historical and cultural places of TRNC with the activities organized within the scope of the Orientation Days and that they were lucky to benefit from the safe, calm and green nature of Cyprus and the riches of the historical Walled Region where the American University of Cyprus is located. Expressing that they were happy to choose the American University of Cyprus, the students stated that the welcoming team welcomed them very well and that they did not feel like strangers because they paid close attention to them.
