Countdown Begins for the Grand Fashion Show at AUC

The American University of Cyprus (AUC) has completed its preparations for the traditional Fashion Show, which is expected with great interest every year. The 20 original designs prepared by the students of KAU Vocational School Fashion and Textile Design Associate Degree Program will be presented to the audience at the giant fashion show to be held within the scope of the 2024-2025 Academic Year Spring Term Graduation Ceremony.

The collections meticulously prepared by the students of the Fashion Design and Textile Associate’s Degree Department throughout the year will be presented in a wide range from businesswomen’s outfits to haute couture costumes for evening wear, from pieces suitable for daily use to original and thematic concepts. Each design reflects the individual vision and creativity of the students.

The work carried out under the leadership of experienced fashion designer and lecturer Neşe Sarı goes beyond a fashion show presentation and carries the mission of bringing the talents of young designers to the fashion world.

The fashion show will be held on Tuesday, June 03 at 19.30 at KAU Alayköy Campus. The event will host an unforgettable night crowning the graduation enthusiasm.

In a statement released by KAU Communication and Press Coordinatorship, it was stated that the proceeds from the sale of the clothes to be exhibited at the fashion show will be donated to orphaned children. This special night, to which students, parents, academic staff, protocol members and fashion enthusiasts as well as the whole public are invited, draws attention with its social responsibility aspect.
