AUC Represented at International Media Conference in Morocco

KAU Rector Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci made evaluations about the participation of KAU in the international academic event titled “International Trends and Issues in Communication and Media Conference (ISMAC)” held in Rabat, Morocco on July 10-11 in cooperation with Sakarya University, Çankaya University and Kocaeli Health and Technology University (KOSTU) and said the following: “As the American University of Cyprus, we attach great importance to academic production to be effective not only locally but also on a global scale. We are proud that Prof. Dr. Emel Yılmaz successfully represented our university at such an important conference with her original work in the field of culture and media. Taking part in international academic events both enables our academics to convey their scientific knowledge to wider circles and increases the visibility of our university in the scientific world. Such representations are also instrumental in establishing strong ties between institutions by opening the door to academic collaborations.”
