Poster workshop and exhibition on the theme “water” was held.

A Poster Workshop and Exhibition on “Water” was organized by the Department of Visual Communication Design of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the American University of Cyprus (AUC).
The “Water” Poster Workshop and Exhibition organized by AUC Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Visual Communication Design was successfully completed. In the workshop organized under the leadership of AUC Rector Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci, the students prepared posters that will raise awareness in the society, especially on the conscious use of the world’s water resources, and included the issues of surface and groundwater resources of the existing water potential in their posters.
AUC Rector and also Acting Dean of AUC Faculty of Fine Arts Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci pointed out that the workshop and exhibition organized within the scope of “World Water Day” should have continuity. Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci emphasized the importance of the drought that has been and will be experienced especially in the world and in our country, and said, “This workshop, which set out with the theme of ‘Sustainable Use of Water Resources’, aimed to raise environmental awareness and raise awareness about the protection of water. Merve Akgül, who organized the workshop, emphasized that due to the decrease in water resources worldwide and the effects of climate change being felt more and more, it is necessary to be more conscious about water management.
