Representation of AUC in Uzbekistan

American University of Cyprus has added a new one to its academic cooperation activities on the international platform in Uzbekistan.

AUC Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alp Karaca and AUC Foreign Relations Representative Dr. Emel Yılmaz presented a paper at the III International Congress of Scientific Studies from Tradition to Future, hosted by the Oriental University of Uzbekistan and organized in Samarkand between 10-13 April 2025 in cooperation with ASES (Academy of Scientific and Educational Studies). Organized under the chairmanship of Uzbekistan Oriental University Rector Prof. Dr. Nozim Mamatakhunov, the congress brought together representatives and academicians from different countries. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alp Karaca and Dr. Emel Yılmaz, who attended the congress on behalf of AUC and presented a paper, were presented a certificate of appreciation by the session chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Fırtına. At the end of the congress, AUC Foreign Relations Representative Dr. Emel Yılmaz presented a gift to Mustafa Talas, Chairman of the Congress Scientific Committee. The congress ended with a commemorative photo taken after the completion of the sessions with the participants.
