AUC Delegation Held Meetings in Azerbaijan for Educational Collaborations

Cyprus American University (KAÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci and KAÜ Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alp Karaca attended an international education cooperation meeting held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, as invited guests.
According to information provided by the KAÜ Communication and Press Coordination Office, many representatives of overseas education institutions and consulting companies, as well as higher education institutions, participated in the meeting hosted by Brain Academy and organized by the Association of Study Abroad Companies (ASAC) on August 23, 2025. KAÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci, who spoke at the meeting, shared the university’s international vision, academic goals, and educational opportunities offered to students with the participants. Keçeci emphasized KAÜ’s mission of providing quality education worldwide and stated that they aim to create new opportunities, especially for Azerbaijani students. KAÜ Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alp Karaca then gave a comprehensive presentation introducing the university’s academic, social, and cultural structure. Following the presentation, participants’ opinions and questions were taken. Karaca conveyed the steps KAÜ will take to develop cooperation between universities, educational institutions, and consulting companies. The meeting also focused on developing cooperation between universities, educational institutions, and consulting companies at the international level. While KAÜ’s international vision and academic goals were conveyed to the participants, it was emphasized that important steps could be taken for joint projects in the coming period. At the end of the meeting, Cooperation Certificates and commemorative plaques were presented to educational institutions and consulting companies by the American University of Cyprus.
