Also known as computer operations, this course is a window into the world of information technologies (IT). Today, we are all part of an ever-growing Information Society. And in this new and dynamic society, people are related to this world from their homes, schools, workplaces. Computers and Information Technologies are part of everything we do. In the coming years, the role of computers and information technologies in our lives will increase even more.
This course provides basic definitions and topics of information technologies. It describes basic computer software and hardware elements, common terminology, applications, and their integration into computer systems. Practical applications will be done in laboratories for 2 hours/day, and testing will be done until you master the desktop application programs.
