A visit from Uzbekistan Oriental University to AUC!

Prof. Dr. Selima Rustamiy and Dr. Gülbahar Kadir from Uzbekistan Oriental University visited the American University of Cyprus.

American Cypriot University (AUC) Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alp Karaca and AUC Administrative Coordinator Dr. Emel Yılmaz met with Prof. Dr. Selima Rustamiy and Dr. Gülbahar Kadir from the Oriental University of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, which was attended by KAU Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alp Karaca on behalf of the university and accompanied by KAU Administrative Coordinator Dr. Emel Yılmaz, Prof. Dr. Selima Rustamiy and Dr. Gülbahar Kadir from Oriental University of Uzbekistan, it is aimed to establish cooperation between the two universities in terms of mutual research activities, joint activities and educational mobility of Continuing Education Centers. During the meeting, which is aimed to contribute to both universities in the academic and cultural fields in the near future, existing projects and cooperation in the field of education abroad were discussed.

Within the scope of the visit, Prof. Dr. Selima Rustamiy and Dr. Gülbahar Kadir presented “Doppi”, one of the national symbols of Uzbekistan, as a hat to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alp Karaca, while Dr. Emel Yılmaz was presented with “Adras”, their national clothes, and the meeting ended with taking a commemorative photo.
