Ankara visits of the AUC

Dr. Emel Yılmaz, President of the American University of Cyprus Continuing Education Centre (KAÜSEM), made contacts at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and the Turkish Internet Media Association (TIMBİR) Headquarters in Ankara. Dr. Yılmaz exchanged views on the artistic and cultural issues between the two countries by giving information about the public education activities carried out within KAÜSEM since its establishment with AK Party Konya Deputy Orhan Erdem, Chairman of the Turkey-TRNC Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.Dr. Emel Yılmaz, President of KAÜSEM and member of the International Relations Board of the Turkish Internet Media Association (TIMBİR), met with TIMBİR President Dr. Süleyman Basa and Birlik News Agency officials at the Headquarters in Ankara and discussed the cooperation with the TRNC in the field of internet media. At the end of the visit, Dr Yılmaz presented a plaque to Dr Basa and Dr Basa presented the TIMBIR membership card to Dr Emel Yılmaz, President of KAÜSEM.
