AUC Enhances their MBA Programs
KAÜ STRENGTHENS ITS MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (TURKISH) PROGRAMS BY OFFERING FACE-TO-FACE EDUCATION TO ALL EMPLOYEES
With its large staff and innovative vision, American University of Cyprus continues to offer firsts thanks to the faculties and departments it has brought to the education of our country. American University of Cyprus Rector Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci and Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics (v) Prof. Dr. Mustafa İlkan, who recently announced the establishment of the ‘Faculty of Engineering and Technology’ by realizing a first in Northern Cyprus, made important statements to the readers by answering the questions about the faculties and departments.

According to the information given by KAU Corporate Communication and Press Coordination Office, American University of Cyprus Rector Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci emphasized that they have developed innovative education policies based on the broad perspective they have put forward since the establishment of the university and that the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, which was opened for the first time in the TRNC, is the result of this effort. Underlining that many departments have been opened within the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of KAU, Rector Keçeci underlined that Computer Technology and Information Systems (IT-Information Technology) education will start in February 2025 Spring Semester.
On the other hand, KAU Rector Keçeci announced that with the Master’s in International Business Management (Turkish) program, they offer the chance to pursue a face-to-face master’s degree in the mother tongue with small groups limited to the course hours arranged especially for working individuals. Prof. Dr. Keçeci emphasized that the International Business Management Master’s program, which offers the opportunity to develop applications integrated into the market and academia within the framework of a student-centered and project-based education model, creates a distinct difference in the application phase of working with small student groups, and stated that the privilege of student and academic satisfaction plays an important role in increasing the attractiveness of the educational environment and keeping the quality of education high.
Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci emphasized that they will reward successful students with scholarships and wished all students success in the new academic year.

American University of Cyprus, Faculty of Business and Economics (IEF) Dean (v) Prof. Dr. Mustafa İlkan emphasized that by updating the Master of International Business Management (Master) program, they are developing their education policies with a model that is followed, not followed.
Dean (v) Prof. Dr. Mustafa İlkan stated that the International Business Management Master’s (Master’s) program has started to operate and that students from the field or from outside the field will be accepted, and said that thanks to their new and dynamic academic staff, they will offer a different model within the scope of small group tutoring method instead of large and crowded classes with face-to-face education model.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa İlkan stated that “first of all, those who have completed their undergraduate education in the field of Business Management and those who have completed their undergraduate education in different disciplines will be admitted with basic difference courses and they aim to attract students to the highest academic level in their courses and thesis studies as a result of the motivation they will gain by equalizing the students at the same level of knowledge.

“Graduation from the master’s program, which consists of a total of six courses, a seminar and a thesis study, is expected to be completed in 1.5 and 2 years, and in addition to face-to-face education, opportunities to meet and ask questions electronically on a 24/7 basis are offered within the scope of the program.
IEF Dean (v) Prof. Dr. Mustafa İlkan stated that they are striving to prepare a better future for their graduates, and said that the International Business Management Master’s program will make significant contributions to bring graduates closer to the field of business administration by conducting integrated applications for the professional field and then stepping into the doctoral program.
