AUC has made its mark on art and design.

The works of the students of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, who exhibited their creative design products at the Fall Semester Student Projects Exhibition, attracted great interest from the visitors. Head of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Buğu Şah emphasized that such events allow students to gain a deeper perspective on design processes and stated that with the “1001 Chair” study, they aim to strengthen the competencies of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design students to make innovative and conscious decisions in their own designs by analyzing the design processes. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Buğu Şah stated that thanks to the “1001 Chair” study, where students will develop their creativity by making connections between different approaches and styles, they aim to develop their own design vision by enabling students to get to know independent designers and understand the product design processes of these designers.
